BATTALION BOWLING CHAMPIONSHIP

The Hopkinsville Division of Parks and Recreation will offer free pickle-ball 9-11 a.m. Mondays and 1-3 p.m. Wednesdays beginning Oct. 19 at Thomas Street Recreation Center, 2600 Thomas St., Hopkinsville. Pickle-ball is a fast-paced, entertaining mix of tennis, badminton, ping pong and racquetball. Bring ID to check out paddles and pickle-balls. All ages and skill levels welcome. YOUTH BASKETBALL LEAGUE
The City of Clarksville’s Parks and Recreation Department is offering an eight-week co-ed youth basketball league for boys and girls ages 7-15. Coaches will work with children to improve dribbling, passing and shooting. Practice will be at local school gyms starting Nov. 1 and games will be held each Saturday starting Dec. 1 at the city’s three recreation centers.
