Host an Exchange student
Think globally, act locally. Why not host an AFS exchange student this fall?
Go to www.afsusa.org/misstennky/ and click on download bios to see the mini-bios of those who still need high schools and loving hosts. Locally, contact Sandy Rich at firstname.lastname@example.org and 865-208-1228 to view full bios, fill out a hosting application and receive any additional information.
Students need to be placed by Wednesday so they do not arrive late for the beginning of school. If you feel that you can not commit to hosting the student for a year, consider being a “welcome” family to ensure that student has a place to stay initially.
Families living on post may host an AFS exchange student.
